Meet Your Coach

I am a board-certified health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC) and a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience caring for individuals and families. My career began in pediatrics in 1992, and after earning my Master of Science in Nursing in 2006, I spent over 15 years as a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Those years taught me something essential: long-term health is shaped not only by medical care, but by daily habits, stress levels, support, and self-belief. That understanding is what led me into health and wellness coaching—and to the work I do now, helping women in midlife reconnect with their well-being, trust their bodies, and make sustainable changes that truly matter.

Alongside my clinical background, movement and mindfulness have always been constants in my life. I’ve been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2012, followed by a 75-hour advanced training in Yoga for Osteoporosis. These practices continue to deepen my awareness, strengthen my knowledge, and shape the way I support my clients—especially women navigating the physical and emotional transitions of midlife.

Outside of coaching and yoga, I’m someone who genuinely loves living a healthy, active life. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed biking, hiking, running, group fitness, weightlifting, and, of course, yoga. I’m an avid home cook who finds joy in creating nourishing, plant-forward meals and continuously learning about nutrition. Caring for loved ones with chronic health conditions has also profoundly shaped my understanding of wellness, compassion, and the importance of support.

All of these experiences—my nursing career, my yoga teaching, my personal wellness practices, and my family life—come together in the work I do today. I bring a blend of evidence-informed care, lived wisdom, and compassionate support to every coaching relationship.

My Coaching Approach

Coaching with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based tools. I believe that meaningful change starts with clarity—understanding what truly matters to you, what gets in the way, and what kind of support helps you thrive. My role isn’t to tell you what to do; it’s to help you discover what feels aligned, realistic, and supportive in this chapter of your life.

My coaching is strengths-based, helping you tap into qualities you already carry—like perspective, honesty, bravery, gratitude, creativity, and curiosity. These strengths act as powerful internal resources as you navigate change, build healthier habits, and reconnect with what matters most.

I specialize in supporting women in midlife—women who have spent years caring for others and are now ready to turn some of that care inward. Together, we bring awareness to beliefs that keep you stuck, reconnect you with what matters most, and create health practices that feel sustainable, not overwhelming.

A holistic approach to midlife well-being

My approach is holistic, blending the science of behavior change with the wisdom of mindfulness, movement, and self-awareness. Together, we look at the whole picture—your lifestyle, strengths, values, routines, challenges, and the season of life you’re in—so the support you receive feels aligned, realistic, and meaningful.
